Jordan Hanna Doubles Down at Grand Bend Speedway

The dream season continued for Jordan Hanna this past weekend at Grand Bend Speedway, as he won the pair of the features on the tight oval.

Starting inside the top-five for the first feature, Hanna wasted no time getting to the lead en route to his sixth feature victory in seven races for 2017.

Like most of the season, his rearview mirror was filled with Daniel Hawn, as he’d post his fifth runner-up following a win at Flamboro Speedway. Brent Kemps finished third for his first top-five of 2017, followed by Sam Gee with a fourth in his series debut. Ted Greenwood placed fifth for his second top-five of 2017.

Craig Pitchell finished sixth for his third top-10 in four starts, followed by Shawn Paul in seventh with his second top-10. Brody RIckwood placed eighth for his seventh straight top-eight, with Rob Summers in ninth with his third straight top-10. Gary Triska finished 10th for his third top-10.

Steve Belfry finished 11th, followed by Tyler Cullen, James Marche, Cassidy Marsh, James Stanley and Shawn Stanley.

The second feature invert proved to no challenge for Hanna, as he once again made his way through the field to take the lead for his seventh win of 2017.

James Marche turned around his luck the second time around, driving the No. 88 normally piloted by Mackenzie Hamilton to a runner-up finish for his third top-four in four series starts. Daniel Hawn finished third followed by Ted Greenwood and Brent Kemps.

Brody Rickwood finished sixth, followed by Craig Pitchell, Shawn Paul, James Stanley and Sam Gee. Notably, it marks the seventh top-10 of 2017 for Stanley.

Rob Summers finished 11th, followed by Steve Belfry, Gary Triska, Tyler Cullen, Cassidy Marsh and Shawn Stanley.

The next race for the OSCAR Pro Midgets is at Sauble Speedway, alongside the OSCAAR Modifieds and OSCAAR Midgets.
