OSCAAR Pro Midgets Flamboro Speedway Preview

OSCAAR PRO MIDGETS AT FLAMBORO SPEEDWAY

OSCAAR Pro Midgets Flamboro Speedway Preview After a solid show this past weekend, the OSCAAR Pro Midgets will be back in action on Saturday at Flamboro Speedway for their ninth feature of 2017. The division will have a special treat this weekend as series director Charles Priestley is set to make his OSCAAR debut, driving the No. 57 normally piloted by James Stanley. No pressure for the boss, but Stanley posted a fourth-place finish at Sauble Speedway. Everybody will be gunning for Jordan Hanna this weekend certainly, as he looks to score his ninth feature victory of 2017 after sweeping the first six races prior to Daniel Hawn’s victory at Peterborough. Cassidy March hopes to turn things around, following three straight finishes outside of the top-10. He was strong at Flamboro earlier this year, posting a pair of fourths. Inaugural OSCAAR Pro Midget Series Champion Ted Greenwood will run his eighth feature of the year this weekend. He has momentum on his side following back-to-back top-fives at Grand Bend before placing 12th last weekend at Sauble Speedway. Rob Summers will be looking for another top-10 after scoring an eighth-place finish at Sauble. He was strong earlier this year at Flamboro, posting a fifth-place finish. Brent Kemps will be looking for his third top-five of 2017 after posting no finishes outside of the top-10 thus far in six starts. Gary Triska will be looking for another top-10 this weekend after struggling the past two events, despite starting off 2017 with a ninth at Flamboro. Daniel Hawn will make his 10th series start this weekend, hoping to score his second career victory following a win and six runner-ups this season. Brody Rickwood could break through for his first win as a rookie as he was solid last weekend at Sauble, posting a sixth-place finish. He posted a sixth and eighth in his previous two Flamboro appearances. Steve Belfry will be looking for his first top-five following a career-best sixth at Flamboro in July. JT Ackworth scored himself a top-10 at Sauble earlier this year, and will hope to improve this weekend. Shawn Paul will be looking for his fourth top-10 of the year, following a pair of sevenths and eighth. Craig Pitchell has impressed since making his debut at Flamboro, posting five top-10’s in six starts, highlighted by a third at Flamboro. Daryl Anthony will be hoping to build upon his ninth-place finish at Peterborough Speedway. Details on the upcoming night of action, including the schedule, can be found at http://www.flamboro.ca.
