Dylan Little Ready to “Keep Things Simple and Have Fun” in Rookie OSCAAR Campaign

As the Living Lighting Canada OSCAAR Pro Sprints continued to grow, there will be a new flock of new faces entering the division in 2019. One of those new drivers is Dylan Little.

“My thoughts entering the season are to just keep things simple and have fun,” he said.

While recognizing it is a “relatively new class,” Little was attracted to the Pro Sprints by the steady growth that the series has seen each season.

“They have the potential to have big numbers in a few years,” he added.

Being his first season in the series, Little says he wants to chase after the Rookie of the Year Award title.

“The competition in this series is tough,” he commented. “But if we can string together consistent runs, then I’m confident we can achieve it.”

The OSCAAR Pro Sprints will visit several tracks across the schedule, with the late addition of Sauble Speedway on August 31 currently circled on Little’s calendar.

“I am most looking forward to Sauble Speedway,” he said. “I think it’s the most fun track we go to.”

For Little, he is no stranger to motorsports, having been around racing form a young age.

“I got started in racing when I was five or so, working with my family on our drag cars,” he recalled. “But in stock car racing, I got started with KDR Motorsports. Kevin Cornelius and Dick Launspach let me onto their team when I was 13 or 14.”

Since then, Little has gained experience, working alongside some of the top competitors in the sport, with his most memorable moment to date being part of Mike Bentley’s team for their 2013 Sunset Speedway Late Model Championship.

As we head into the season, Little would like to thank the Bullens for all of their support, while offering a special shout-out to Branden’s Trailer & Repair.
